B2B MARKETING DIRECTOR | Princeton NJ

We're looking for a Marketing Director to develop marketing and database targeting strategy for direct B2B marketing programs. You will work in the client environment and promote best practices within the client organization. You must utilize statistically rigorous methodology to perform marketing analysis based on D&B firmographic data and proprietary client-supplied data. You will communicate data strategy to client in terms of impact to business, and execute direct marketing campaign designs and analyze back-end campaign performance. This position is primarily in the Princeton NJ area, and requires travel and ability to work at client site.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of Dunn and Bradstreet business firmographic data and the use of this data in database marketing applications.
  • Advanced use, including report development, of Business Objects, Oracle or other analytic tools required.
  • Should have advanced degree or equivalent experience in statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, marketing or related field.
  • Ability to interact with client, understand business objectives and translate those objectives into technical project specifications.
  • Ability to discuss technical projects in “layman” terms and communicate business impact of technical projects to client.
  • Ability to develop effective marketing strategy based on analytic results, and to communicate marketing strategy to client, highlighting potential benefits and financial impact of program.

DATABASE MARKETING STATISTICIAN

This position (comparable title: CRM Business Data Analyst) requires ability to utilize statistically rigorous methodology to perform marketing analysis based on demographic, sociographic, credit, and proprietary client-supplied consumer data. You must be able to apply best practices in data preparation and data cleansing, create predictive and descriptive derived concepts from raw data, and implement behavioral segmentation. In addition, you must be able to develop predictive response models using accepted statistical procedures, and execute direct marketing campaign designs and analyze back-end campaign performance. This position requires travel and ability to work at client site.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years experience applying statistical procedures to market research or database marketing.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in statistics or applied mathematics.
  • Expert knowledge in SAS programming, SPSS, and other statistical analysis tool.
  • Advanced use of KnowledgeSTUDIO, Business Objects, or Oracle.

DATABASE MARKETING - ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

We are seeking an Account Director to manage client operations for database and customer relationship marketing group in an agency environment, promoting database marketing best practices within the agency and client organizations. You will manage process for the delivery of database marketing analytic packages, deliver business insights derived from data analytics, develop data-based marketing strategies, and provide on-site client relationship support.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years experience applying statistical procedures to market research or database marketing.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in statistics or applied mathematics.
  • Expert knowledge in SAS programming, SPSS, and other statistical analysis tool. 
  • Advanced use of KnowledgeSTUDIO, Business Objects, or Oracle.
  • Ability to interface with client to understand list requirements and translate into database specifications.
  • Expert knowledge of accepted customer relationship marketing best practices and experience managing client relationships. 
  • Ability to develop and implement leading edge analytics solutions that deliver business intelligence and reporting on direct marketing campaign performance. 
  • Ability to manage staff of analysts and DBA's to deliver production list extracts for direct marketing programs. 
  • Ability to communicate statistical marketing solutions to business leaders in a business friendly format.
